The thing I love most about being an independent artist is the direct contact I get to have with you: the person who likes my music, who sends me an email or grabs me after a show to say good job. The unfiltered connections we get to make.
PledgeMusic is helping us take that to the next level. I made a new record, and I’m releasing it here first. If you pre-order my record here, you’ll get access to it before anyone else. You’ll get exclusive updates from me, as well as some lovely incentives (read about them to the right). Your pledges will allow me to make CDs. They’ll help me get out to play for you in your town. They’ll help me release this record the way it’s meant to be released: straight from me to you.
And remember the power of word of mouth: the more you tweet/facebook/pinterest/allthatonlinecrap about this, the more good stuff I can bring your way. And since I’m a dorky music teacher by day, a portion of what’s raised after my goal will go to Little Kids Rock, a music education non-profit.
