It’s an exciting time for Bad Wolves. As the band gets set to release their debut album, Disobey, they have secured their first No. 1 song on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart with their cover of The Cranberries’ classic hit, “Zombie.”
According to Billboard, it marks "the first remake to rule the ranking since Disturbed’s “The Sound of Silence” (originally by Simon & Garfunkel in 1965), which led for seven weeks beginning in March 2016."
The cover was initially intended to include The Cranberries’ frontwoman Dolores O’ Riodan as the featured duet vocalist on the song. Due to her sudden death on January 15th, the band released the song in her memory, and donated all of the proceeds to Riodan’s children.
