Compressorhead is "The Robot Rock Band with a difference.” We actually rock! and are 100% Robot. We have produced an album so good, you won’t believe it’s robots performing.
We are a group of international fulltime artists, and we love to build party machines and mechanical madness. We built Compressorhead independent of any institutional or industrial funding, and now Compressorhead is the first 100% Robot Band to record an original album that rocks.
Together with the Canadian music-legend John Wright (of NoMeansNo & The Hanson Brothers) we produced fantastic new songs which have got to be heard.
You might get an idea of how it looks by watching our campaign video. Building and programming robots takes a lot of time and money, we have done nothing else during the last 3 years. Now the album is ready and you can buy it here. If you pre-order the album or some of the other exclusive items here from this PledgeMusic campaign, you help us to cover the immense costs which piled up during the last years. We had to build two new band members, singer Mega-Wattson and second guitar player Hellgå Tarr to complete the band and produce this album.
The album contains 15 songs that were exclusively composed to be performed by Compressorhead. John Wright wrote songs that can only be performed by the robots. No human drummer can play single hand rolls like Stickboy can. No human guitarist can play multiple riffs at the same time.
Wattson: “John is the man for the job! Musically he is the master. I have grown up with his music. It’s such an honour that John is working with us. The music he wrote for us is so cool. It’s the best.”
John Wright: “We had to teach the robots the songs I have written. But we had to speak the language the Robots understand. Which is MIDI. The robots came to me to find the secret of Rock ’n’ Roll. Everything the robots do they do on command. So you have to put all the nuance that a real musician – oh, I should not say real musician – but a human musician, would do on stage. And my job was to find the nuances in the performances that have been written for them. And then to bring them all together as one unit.”
Keep an eye on the campaign for video content, updates, tour dates and new exclusives!

One of Stickboys used Drumsticks.
Well! Sometimes when Stickboy drinks too much “heavy machine oil” he like’s to show off his high speed drum roll which tends to destroy his sticks. Would you like to own one of them?
Genuine random ex-bodyparts from Drummer Stickboy.
Everytime Fingers is playing the “Ace Of Spades” Solo he broke at least 2 fingers.
Get one of them here.
Get a bunch of small body parts of the Robots!
Handmade circuit-board, a bit of Robot brain, that somehow never worked or got destroyed during testing. NOTE: This board does not work!
Stickboys first original old style valve bank. This valve bank took a beating in the early days during Stickboys solo tour of Australias Big Day Out Festival.
This was situated just above his ass and powered his legs and snare arm….
