Has anyone been able to get money back for this or heard how Donnie and his team are going to resolve this for his fans who trusted this situation and bought one or more of these packages? I, too, only got a digital download. Hefty price tag for what I paid. The included cover pic was way less impressive as a creative birthday gift for my brother zoomed in online vs being able to hand him a cd, let alone the autograph and name in the liner notes. I just wrote the website but don't have high expectations. Can anyone tell me specifically what their experience is? I know Paul Gilbert's pledgers seem to be happy so I don't know how much is site vs artist vs the mix. I love the album but this is massively unfair to the fan, regardless of blame. I just waited forever hoping it would resolve itself but it doesn't seem to be happening...

We're all in the same boat Adam. Yes, this was a pricier pledge than most. What's disconcerting to me and most of us is the lack of transparency from Donnie. If it's true that he's looking for a label to release Beautiful Things, tell us. Personally, my guess is that he does not have the funds for the production of the final product which could be the blame of PLEDGEMUSIC.

I agree with you completely. I don't have any animosity, I just don't want to be left in the dark. It's a fabulous album that I hope does get a proper release. Eh... Will hang tight and reach out to his girlfriend who was very communicative during the photo collection timeframe. Anyway, have a good one and thank you for sharing your insight and thoughts.

Just read on DV's facebook page that the cd is being released in Japan on 4/24 with additional track.

I bought a CD, not a download. I'll be expecting one of those CDs (Japanese, if necessary) to be shipped to me to fulfill the commitment.

Hi Antonio yes I didn’t receive anything and have emailed pledge. I ordered trouble maker a long time ago off his site and never received the mp3 download., I am starting to see a pattern with him and while I live his music I think it’s better to wait til it’s on amazon where it isn’t an issue getting our money back.

That's why I wish Donnie could sign with an indie label. That way we avoid all this with Pledge and just buy it from a more reliable outlet instead of Pledgemusic.

Donnie's Facebook page on January 20 states that he keeps getting asked about the new disc and that they haven't officially released it yet because it's too good to throw away. Sounds like he wants a label to release it.

Thank you for these articles. I was wondering what was going on with the physical product from Donnie. I have pledged with several artists in the past through these guys with no problems. Sucks that the artists are not getting their money these days. Makes them look bad when really it seems to be PledgeMusic.

You're welcome.

Though it was initially pledger Charles Williams who discovered all this and brought it to our attention. I just found the article from Billboard and Metalsludge.
