Thanks for following! You'll get any future updates.
We first teased our reunion show early in 2015. It was the right time: 10 years to the day of our starting an official Hiatus. But you weren’t crazy about that idea. “One night?” you said, “Don’t be weird!” We wanted to make you happy. That one day “tour” in December ballooned into 9 shows in 6 venues in 5 cities. But you still weren’t satisfied; it wasn’t enough. We had an amazing time, and afterwards you asked us, “what’s next?”. We didn’t really know.
We shuffled back into our hiatus routines, missing you but not really knowing what to do about it. Our good friends Cary Ann and Michael of Shovels and Rope told us to “get back out there!” and had us play their incredible High Water Festival in April 2017. There, we played for eight thousand of you, and you seemed like you might be willing to keep singing along to our songs, and even new ones if we wrote them. So we played some shows in October and closed out ‘17 with old songs and new accompanied by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. We knew then that we had absolutely no desire for this to be over any time soon.
But now we’re done with the “reunion” schtick. It’s time for Chapter Two. A lot has changed since we last toured and recorded, but the one constant has been you, our Community. And you’re closer than ever. We’ve always been good about staying in touch, right? Now we have PledgeMusic to make things even easier. You’re actually going to be making this new album with us. Pre-order the album at any level and you get the AccessPass, where you’ll be allowed to see images, videos, diaries and more that we’re not sharing anywhere else. You’ll be pulling your hair out with us in mutual frustration as we try to bare our souls in song. You will feel like you’re in the dark, overly-testosterone-filled studio with us, politely chuckling at in-jokes that are only funny to us. You’ll share the excitement of hearing a collection of audio files mixed perfectly to become a Song. There will be no middle men, no record labels – it’s just us and you, and we need you more than ever. Please pledge to help us spend the next six months writing, producing, marketing, and performing a new Jump, Little Children album. Pre-order the record! Buy some socks! Buy Matt’s tin whistle! Everything helps. Let’s get back together!

Jump, Little Children prides themselves on being available to their fans, but this is ridiculous. “Jump Up!™” your existing ticket to any show in the group’s Fall Tour and gain access to a private Jump Up!™ Soundcheck Party and Jump Up!™ Meet & Greet. Catch up to three songs during the group’s sound check. Take your picture with the entire band, including the rarely-photographed Jay Clifford. Have a Jump Up!™ Snack of the Day while shooting the breeze with the guys. You’ll be in-and-out in an hour with plenty of time to grab dinner before the show. Times and venue and access details will be emailed to you. These might be the most intimate shows the band will ever perform, so hurry up and “Jump Up!”™.
It’s no secret that the members of Jump, Little Children have near-encyclopedic knowledge of some of the deepest, darkest, nerdiest topics: comic books, video games, sci-fi & fantasy movies/TV, chess, William Shakespeare, alternative energy sources, trigonometry, Beat authors, German board games, coffee, vegan cheese. Go Nerd-to-Nerd with your favorite band in one of the geekiest bars on the planet: The Way Station in Brooklyn, NY. With a Tardis for a bathroom and the option at the bar to order a “Shirley Temple of Doom”, this place’ll get the Bivins Brothers ready and willing to wax poetic on why Brian Michael Bendis writes the best Spider-Man, and if you don’t know s*&t about building a windmill in your back yard to save money on electricity? We know a guy named Jay Clifford that’d be happy to school you. Once you’re mentally, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted by dissecting Season Three of Twin Peaks, we’ll all head to dinner where you can hear Ward regale you on how the Margarita is actually a descendant of the Sidecar, or eat in blessed silence if you choose!
Date: evening of September 26, 2018
Note: Price is per person, all inclusive of any cover charges and meal costs (not including adult beverages)

Produced during a particularly questionable era of the band’s fashion and conceptual choices, this last-of-its-kind image is a promo shot for the incredibly strange “Bobshevik Revolution Tour” of 2000. Taken by the beautiful and talented Kate (Zimmerman) Skogen, the image features the boys in a melange of thrift-store-acquired winter coats and hats we can only assume they considered “Russian-esque” in style. Delight in the creative hit-and-misses of youth, captured for eternity in this print signed by the band, for only $50.
There are only ten of these left, and for 25 bucks we’re gonna send you one via postal mail. Created to promote the official release of Vertigo and featuring an image taken mere weeks before the band was officially dropped from Atlantic Records, the front of this orange postcard shows the band in happier, more care-free, and better-groomed times. The photographer was paid an exorbitant sum to capture the band at their semi-photogenic best; as per usual there is no way of telling from this photograph whether this band plays pop-punk, shoe(less)-gazing indie rock, or smooth jazz. Signed by the members. Get something in the mail besides Amazon packages and bills for only $25 + $.50 shipping!
Used to record one of Jump’s earliest songs, Forget My Loss, and in countless number of live performances (42, actually). Can come pre-sterilized for germaphobes.

You will literally be a part of this album! Your name will be listed/credited as a Co-Executive Producer in the Vinyl liner notes. We’ll put you just under the Producer credit in a big ol’ font that’ll make the regular thank you names jealous. And you’ll receive a signed copy of the vinyl record to prove to your friends that you own us!

“Mouse pad. | ˈmaʊs pæd | (also British mouse mat) noun a thin flat pad (as of rubber) on which a computer mouse is used.
Opium. | ˈōpēəm | noun Originally an email list-serv (and eventually a stand-alone website) utilized by the band Jump, Little Children as an early form of social media, where fans could connect with each other and discuss many topics, such as how much they loved the band and how much the band had ‘sold out’. In 2018, a version of the Opium list-serv lives on as a Facebook Group.”
This is the last of its kind. The only one left to sell. And it’s signed by the band. Do you need it? Probably not. Do you want it? Maybe! Relive the glory!
