Men at Work remaining band members; Colin Hay, Ron Strykert, Jerry Speiser & John Rees pay tribute to Greg Ham in new interviews.

Long time collaborator John Philips provides some rare material from Greg’s Curtain Street Studio. A new tribute recording of Still Life was recently made at Abbey Road Studios London with engineer Simon Gibson (Sir Paul Mccartney / Depeche Mode.) An interview with Jeremy Alsop who played bass on the original & the rest of Men’s last album Two Hearts. Jeremy talks about his time working with Greg.

1 unreleased Men at Work recording session of Greg Ham ( circa. 1982.)

This collection also features Greg’s complete ‘Miss Dorothy & His Fools In Love’ EP which has been beautifully remastered along with the band’s promo video. An 8 page booklet containing poems, stories and photographs from friends and fans.

And finally released for the first time; some of Greg’s finished works & last ever recordings spanning over this 80 minute CD. Various interviews/videos with Greg on his music are also included on this tribute release.

We will be adding further updates as the project progresses. Goodnight genius Greg, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. LEE SIMEONE (Producer)

We’ve created a film about Men At Work, their hit single Down Under, and the Kookaburra controversy. If you didn’t know, the band were sued for copyright infringement and were facing the label of plagiarists, 35 years after their success. Featuring new interviews with Ron Strykert, John Rees & Jerry Speiser.

We have also spent the past year interviewing three original band members of Men At Work for this film, cultural icons of Melbourne, Lawyers, academics and musicians about this case. Harry Hayes has edited the film into a succinct, thought provoking, tragic and entertaining 28 minute documentary.

The Story reveals the organic development of the song Down Under, it explores the songs commercial success, its cultural significance. And the the film dives into the case, asking questions about the relationship between art and law, influence and copyright.

The album is also included and both discs are promotional only items. Just four in existence. 10% of sales go to charity ‘Turning Point’.

“Down Under” the original sound recording is used under license from Sony Music Entertainment. Published by EMI Music Publishing. Original sound recording made by CBS Records Australia © 1981 Sony Music Entertainment. All rights reserved.
