It is 18 months since our first album. We have developed lots of new music which we have been playing at festivals up and down the country. We are really excited about this and wanted to do this material justice and so we are working with established Folk musicians Will Lang (known for his collaborations, Nitin Sawhney, PBS6, National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, Halsway Manor, has had airplay on BBC Radio 2,3, and 6Music) and Tom Wright (produced records for and played with artists such as Park Bench Social Club, FolkEngine, Amanda Connell, Dogan Mehmet, Eliza Carthy, Cieran Boyle, Rosie Hood and The No Good Sinners) who are helping us record and produce the album.
As ever you will have lots of lively music. A mix of our own material and our arrangements of great tunes. Our last album was described as “a rattle round the rafters” by fRoots. We want this one to contain as much energy, but we have got more sophisticated in how we “bang them out”. In some cases bordering on subtle!!
Our second album. We have been developing new music for the last year and trying it out in our gigs. The result is a mix of our own compositions, and arrangements of great tunes done in our own inimitable style.
It is music to get your toes tapping!
