In November 2015, after our largest US tour date, we stopped at Welcome to 1979 Studios in Nashville, TN for an all analog live session. A total of sixteen tunes were multi-tracked live onto one-inch tape in a single evening session in front of a small studio audience, members of whom took turns either to watch in the live room or to listen from the control room. Directly after the performance the recording was mixed down onto three 1⁄4” stereo tape reels. Of the sixteen pieces performed in total, ten were chosen (five per side) to be cut onto vinyl lacquers straight from the 1⁄4” tape. There are no guests and no overdubs: just bass, drums, guitar and organ.
When preparing the release for this record, we thought this time that we would do it a bit differently, inviting you here to be able to pre-order and get it first while also getting access to exclusive content from the creation of the album, including studio clips, bonus mixes and more.
Reserve your copy of this exclusive 1 of 1000 limited LP now and stay tuned in the coming weeks as we share this and lots more with you.

A very special USB featuring high resolution digital masters.
The first copies off the press to test the audio quality, each one is a bit different. Signed by the band.
Since listening to your actual vinyl master is prohibited because playing it even once will cause it to be degraded, the practice of cutting a reference lacquer (also called an “acetate”) was popularized in the 60s and 70s. This allows the band to hear how your music will sound on your record (and make changes if you’d like) prior to the plating and test pressing stages. This is your chance to own a extremely limited, direct from the lathe copy of The Nashville Sessions reference lacquer cut by the skilled engineers at Welcome to 1979 Studios.
Simon will send you a very special voicemail message to use as your outgoing message.
