I’m going down to Nashville to record a new album of self-penned songs, and maybe a traditional tune or two. In olden times this would have been funded by a Big Record Company, and they would have wanted a lien on your soul and a second mortgage on your first-born son. (There might be a song in there!)
Nowadays, through the magic of PledgeMusic, a musician can ask the music-lovers to support the project—and that’s where you come in. I’m offering a dazzling array of exclusives, from a monogrammed guitar pick to a private concert, to entice you to get involved. Take a look around!
The muse has been visiting a lot lately, and I have almost enough songs now to record an album entirely of self-penned songs (though I’ll likely throw in a traditional tune or two—don’t want to lose my Folksinger credentials!).
I’m going down to Nashville in early May to work with the magician musicians there (I’ve said, and it’s true, that recording with these guys is like getting a magic carpet ride), with Jim Rooney in the producer’s chair and my musical buddy Matt Nakoa on keyboards.
Thanks so much for getting involved!
